Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Quimper UJAP (5-7) lost at home to eighth ranked Chalons-Reims (7-5) 77-70 on Friday. Chalons-Reims looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1994, college: Ohio Christian) who scored that evening 16 points and 7 assists and swingman Jean-Philippe Dally (200-1996) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Five Chalons-Reims players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by swingman Elhadji-Digue Diawara (206-1998) did not help to save the game for Quimper UJAP. Croatian center Ivan Vranes (207-1996, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Chalons-Reims moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Quimper UJAP lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Orleans.
