Regular Season Round 13: MKS DG - Spojnia 100-85

We should mention about the upset which took place in Dabrowa Gornicza, where 8th ranked Spojnia (6-7) lost to eleventh ranked MKS DG (5-8) in a road game 85-100 on Friday. American guard Joe Chealey (193-1995, college: Charleston) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 assists for the winners and Slovenian forward Martin Krampelj (206-1995, college: Creighton) chipped in 26 points. Four MKS DG players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-1988, college: Arkansas) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import center Barret Benson (208-1997, college: SIU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Spojnia's coach Sebastian Machowski tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MKS DG moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Arka. Loser Spojnia keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Czarni. MKS DG will meet at home Start (#12) in the next round. Spojnia will play against Sokol (#14) and hope to secure a win.
