Regular Season Round 13: Xirdalan - NTD 80-108

Another interesting game for NTD (8-3) which played in Baku against Xirdalan (7-4). Third ranked NTD crushed hosts 108-80. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Xirdalan. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Xirdalan 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. American forward Londell King (203, college: Stillman) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Jeremy Hayes (193-1997, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 28 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side American guard Devin Pullum (188, college: Rogers St.) responded with 17 points and 7 assists and point guard Fikrat Alakbarov (183-2003) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four NTD and five Xirdalan players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. NTD have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gence and Sabah. Xirdalan at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Serhedci.
