An interesting game was also a 16-point tough home defeat of 6th ranked Olimpic Sheki in a game versus Neftci (#7) 83-67. Neftci forced 19 Olimpic Sheki turnovers and outrebounded them 49-37 including 37 on the defensive glass. American guard Dennis Jones (185, college: PVAMU) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and Iranian center Mohsen Moradxani (213-1990) accounted for 14 points and 12 rebounds. Four Neftci players scored in double figures. Neftci's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jayson Brower (196-1996, college: John Jay) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Davante Cooper (208-1994, college: WSU) added 19 points and 6 blocks respectively for Olimpic Sheki in the defeat. Neftci (3-8) moved-up to sixth place. Olimpic Sheki lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost.
