Regular Season Round 14: Slask - Stal 83-68

An interesting game for WKS Slask (14-0) which hosted in Wroclaw 3rd ranked Stal (10-4). Top-ranked WKS Slask had an easy win 83-68. WKS Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Stal's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WKS Slask made 7 blocks. Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-1990, agency: PEPI SPORT) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Jakub Niziol (201-1996, college: Cal Poly) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. WKS Slask's coach Andrej Urlep used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Josh Perkins (191-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Latvian Ojars Silins (201-1993) added 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Stal. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WKS Slask have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Stal at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. WKS Slask are looking forward to face Sokol (#14) in Lancut in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Stal will play at home against Anwil (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
