Regular Season Round 12: Tortona - Treviso 90-95

The most important game in the last round took place in Tortona between third ranked Tortona (8-4) and fifteenth ranked Treviso (4-8) on Monday night. Tortona was defeated by Treviso in a tough game at home 90-95. Treviso made 26-of-28 free shots (92.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Nigerian point guard Ike Iroegbu (188-1995, college: WSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. American-Israeli Adrian Banks (191-1986, college: Arkansas St.) contributed with 29 points for the winners. American Mike Daum (206-1995, college: S.Dakota St.) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman JP Macura (196-1995, college: Xavier) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tortona. Four Tortona players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Treviso moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Tortona at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Treviso is looking forward to face higher ranked Venezia (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tortona will play against Varese and is hoping to win this game.
