No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-5) crushed on the road bottom-ranked ASA Jerusalem (1-9) 80-59 on Monday. Ramat Hasharon forced 24 ASA Jerusalem turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Dor Saar (165-1999, college: MTSU) supported her with 23 points and 6 assists. Four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Coach Daniela Reuven's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists by American center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) did not help to save the game for ASA Jerusalem. Serbian forward Teodora Turudic (180-1999) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Ramat Hasharon maintains sixth position with 4-5 record. ASA Jerusalem lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Ramat Hasharon will meet league's second-placed M.Ramat Gan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ASA Jerusalem will play against H.Rishon LZ (#5) in Rishon Le-Zion and hope to win that game.
