Top ranked Boras (14-3) recorded its third loss on the court of seventh ranked Sodertalje on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Sodertalje 102-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boras. Sodertalje shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard Walt Kelser (183, college: Ferris St.) who scored 25 points. Forward Ed Polite Jr (196-1997, college: Radford, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) who recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Anton Cook (189-1995, college: SE Oklahoma) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Sodertalje and four Boras players scored in double figures. Sodertalje maintains seventh place with 8-9 record. Boras at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. Sodertalje are looking forward to face higher ranked BC Lulea (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boras will play against Fryshuset (#11) and are hoping to win this game.
