Everything went according to plan when third ranked Bologna (11-2) outscored on the road 13th ranked Brescia (1-12) 88-69. They outrebounded Brescia 44-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. French center Iliana Rupert (194-2001) nailed 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Latvian forward Kitija Laksa (182-1996, college: S.Florida) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Brooke Johnson (183-1996, college: UNLV) came up with 25 points and Croatian center Lorena Molnar (188-1998) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Brescia in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bologna have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Venezia. Brescia lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Valdarno.
