Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Karditsas (1-9) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Promitheas (4-6) 81-68 on Friday. Promitheas made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Anthony Cowan Jr (183-1997, college: Maryland) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Dimitrios Kaklamanakis (205-1994) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Promitheas players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international Ioannis Agravanis (198-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 8 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Georgios Giouzelis (204-1995) scored 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
