Very expected game when 9th ranked Wolomin (5-8) was crushed at home by first ranked Sokolow P. (12-1) 101-69 on Wednesday. Sokolow P. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Wolomin's 32. Sokolow P. forced 23 Wolomin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Wolomin's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Kinga Dzierbicka (168-1997) who scored 23 points. Belarusian Vialeta Kiulyak (187-1996) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Zuzanna Ciecierska (178-2002) produced 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Weronika Nowakowska (169-1998) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokolow P. have an impressive nine-game winning streak.
