Regular Season Round 23: Kalmar - Boras 59-83

Basketligan top team - Boras (16-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Kalmar (3-16) 83-59. Boras forced 19 Kalmar turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a quality performance for guard Anton Cook (189-1995, college: SE Oklahoma) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 4 assists. Forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) accounted for 7 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. Boras' coach Henrik Svensson felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cameron DeLaney (193-1995, college: SHSU) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Jamaure Gregg (201-1999, college: NSU) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Kalmar in the defeat. Boras maintains first place with 16-3 record. Kalmar lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. Boras will play against league's second-placed Umea at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kalmar will play against BC Lulea (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
