Regular Season Round 18: Tarbes-Lourdes - Loon-Plage 86-87

Eleventh-ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (6-12) made lots of trouble for second ranked Loon-Plage (13-5) on Friday. The visitors from Loon-Plage managed to secure only one-point victory 87-86. However their fans expected much easier game. Loon-Plage outrebounded Lourdes-Tarbes 37-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Christopher Dauby (193-1999) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Ron Anderson Jr (203-1989, college: S.Florida) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Loon-Plage players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Remi Lesca (180-1990) who recorded 15 points and 5 assists and American Devante Wallace (196-1992, college: High Point, agency: BIG) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Loon-Plage maintains second position with 13-5 record behind leader Rouen. Lourdes-Tarbes lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Loon-Plage are looking forward to face Les Sables (#11) in Les Sables-D'Ollone in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lourdes-Tarbes will play on the road against Vitre and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
