There was no surprise when 8th ranked Valsequillo (5-6) was outleveled by fourth ranked Estudiantes B (7-4) in Madrid 105-58 on Saturday. Estudiantes B forced 21 Valsequillo turnovers and outrebounded them 46-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Manuel Villamandos (201-2000) nailed 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Michael Drame (195-1999) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Estudiantes B players scored in double figures. Forward Carlos Apolinario (196-1996) came up with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Gabriel Bolanos (195-1992) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Valsequillo in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Estudiantes B.
