Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Tobarra and 11th ranked Pinto Basket had identical 4-6 record. This time Tobarra used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Madrid 81-77 on Saturday night. Tobarra had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Canadian-Jamaican guard Kedar N'Kosi Salam (191-1994, college: Simon Fraser, agency: Helping Ballers) nailed 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Juan Carlos Vilches (196-1993) accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. David Nieto came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Bah Youssouf added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Pinto Basket in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tobarra (5-6) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Pinto Basket keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with BT Madrid. Tobarra will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pinto Basket will play against the league's leader Alcobendas (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
