Everything could happen in Zaragoza at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Sant Adria and 13th ranked El Olivar had identical 2-10 record. But El Olivar was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Sant Adria 81-75 on Saturday night. Sant Adria dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to El Olivar's 26 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Sant Adria forced 21 El Olivar turnovers. Senegalese Mareme Diop (-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Emma Barcelo (-1996) chipped in 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria (3-10) moved-up to twelfth place. El Olivar lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Aranguren. Sant Adria will meet higher ranked Mataro (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. El Olivar will play against Barna (#9) in Barcelona and hope to secure a win.
