No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Pol.Krakow (7-7) defeated at home 10th ranked Enea AZS II P. (4-10) 67-54 on Saturday. Pol.Krakow had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for forward Weronika Wozniak (180-1998) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Angelika Kuras (183-1992) helped adding 7 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Malina Piasecka (168-2004) with 8 points and 5 assists and guard Lena Brzustowska (178-2007) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pol.Krakow moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Rybnik. Enea AZS II P. lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Pol.Krakow will meet Aleksandrow L. (#12) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Enea AZS II P. will play against the league's second-placed Poznan MUKS where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
