Regular Season Round 13: Gimle - Tromso 93-81

The game between Top Four teams took place in Bergen. Second ranked host Gimle (14-4) defeated 4th placed Tromso (11-6) 93-81. Gimle players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tromso's players. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) nailed a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Jorgen Odfjell (197-2000) accounted for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Gimle players scored in double figures. Gimle's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Canadian center Cole Long (201, college: Detroit) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds and Serbian forward Petar Radojicic (206-1994, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds respectively for Tromso in the defeat. Defending champion maintains second place with 14-4 record having just three points less than leader Kongsberg. Tromso at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Gimle will play against bottom-ranked Nidaros Jets (#11) in Tromdheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tromso will play at home against Centrum (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
