Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked La Leonesa (9-3) defeated at home 7th ranked Xiria (6-6) 77-60 on Sunday. Rodrigo Llamas (191-2001) nailed 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Argentinian swingman Federico Copes (199-2002) accounted for 16 points. La Leonesa's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Pau Isern (189-2001, agency: Promo Sport ID) came up with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and forward Ruben Rey (198-1993) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Xiria in the defeat. La Leonesa keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Marin and Almeria. Newly promoted Xiria keeps the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
