Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Cagliari (1-12) lost on the road to fourth ranked Patti (9-4) 71-67 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Patti outrebounded Cagliari 40-25 including 30 on the defensive glass. Latvian forward Karline Pilabere (189-1990) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Liliana Miccio (179-1989) accounted for 23 points. Polish power forward Karolina Stawinska (186-1997) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sara Giangrasso (175-2000) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Cagliari in the defeat. Four Cagliari players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Patti. They maintain fourth place with 9-4 record. Cagliari lost their sixth game in a row.
