Regular Season Round 23: Uppsala - BC Lulea 76-77

Eighth-ranked Uppsala (7-12) gave a tough game to fifth ranked BC Lulea (12-7) on Monday. The visitors from Lulea managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected easier game. It was a great evening for Belgian-American forward Michael Gilmore (208-1995, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Ladarien Griffin (200-1996, college: St.Bonaventure) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Jordan Shepherd (193, college: California) responded with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Jalyn Hinton (198-1998, college: SE Louisiana, agency: GoEmpire Group) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. BC Lulea have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 12-7 record. Newly promoted Uppsala keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Koping Stars. BC Lulea are looking forward to face Kalmar (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Uppsala will play against Kalmar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
