Regular Season Round 12: ASA Jerusalem - M.Ramat Gan 65-72

There was no surprise when 10th ranked ASA Jerusalem (1-11) was defeated at home by third ranked M.Ramat Gan (8-4) 72-65. M.Ramat Gan made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 ASA Jerusalem turnovers and outrebounded them 49-37 including 38 on the defensive glass. ASA Jerusalem was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Jillian Alleyne (190-1994, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 22 rebounds. The other American import swingman Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. American center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian forward Teodora Turudic (180-1999) added 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals in the effort for ASA Jerusalem. ASA Jerusalem's coach Ohad Gal rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. M.Ramat Gan maintains third position with 8-4 record having four points less than leader M.Ashdod. ASA Jerusalem lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. M.Ramat Gan will play against H.Petah Tikva (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ASA Jerusalem will play against E.Holon in Holon to get more than just one victory in their record.
