No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Caen (13-6) crushed at home 13th ranked Kaysersberg (4-15) 90-66 on Tuesday. Caen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Florian Thibedore (193-1990) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized DR Congolese point guard Carl Ona-Embo (188-1989) accounted for 18 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Ona-Embo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Caen's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boukhary Cissoko (198-2000) came up with 15 points and forward Christnel Jean-Francois (200-1991) added 12 points respectively for Kaysersberg in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Caen. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Kaysersberg keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost.
