There was a minor upset in Veneto where 10th ranked Bolzano BC (5-9) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Ponzano (3-11) 72-60 on Saturday. Ponzano had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Swedish swingman Amanda Tivenius (182-1996, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds.
