Olle Welander (-2000) stepped up and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Castor Wahlberg (198-2002) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. AIK Basket's coach Fred Drains allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Kevin Grant (191-1994) responded with 23 points and forward Elias Westerlund (198-1988) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
