Very predictable result in Vigo where fourth ranked Celta Zorka (12-4) defeated 13th ranked Melilla (5-12) 73-60 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Murjanatu Musa (187-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Anne Senosiain (162-1997) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Four Celta Zorka players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Patricia Benet (175-1988) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian power forward Bojana Stevanovic (180-1996) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Celta Zorka maintains fourth position with 12-4 record. Newly promoted Melilla dropped to the fourteenth place with 12 games lost. Celta Zorka will meet Lima-Horta (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Melilla will play against Cordoba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
