Very expected game when 11th ranked Mondeville (3-8) lost to first ranked Charnay (9-2) in Charnay-les-Macon 66-71 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Charnay forced 21 Mondeville turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi (188-1998, college: Miami, FL, agency: Areus Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Johanna Muzet (183-1997, college: URI) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Four Charnay players scored in double figures.
