There was no surprise when 7th ranked Olimpic Sheki (2-11) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Xirdalan (8-5) 88-77 on Sunday. Xirdalan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpic Sheki's 40. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for power forward Andrew Corum (201-1996, college: Virginia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Center Andre Adams (206, college: NMHU) helped adding 18 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Jayson Brower (196-1996, college: John Jay) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Davante Cooper (208-1994, college: WSU) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Olimpic Sheki players scored in double figures. Xirdalan moved-up to third place, which they share with Gence and Sabah. Olimpic Sheki lost their eighth game in a row.
