The biggest surprise of round 24 in Basketligan was guest Jamtland's (14-5) road victory over Norrkoping (#4) 83-79 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Norrkoping. Jamtland made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Norrkoping helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard CJ Jackson (185-1996, college: Ohio St., agency: Blacktop Management) who scored 14 points and 4 assists. The other American import guard Landrius Horton (193-1998, college: Columbus St.) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Jamtland players scored in double figures. Jamtland's coach Adnan Cuk used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Adam Ramstedt (206-1995) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Devonte Green (190-1997, college: Indiana) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Jamtland have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Defending champion Norrkoping keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Jamtland are looking forward to face Uppsala (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Norrkoping will play against Sodertalje (#7) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
