Rather expected game when 10th ranked Kalmar (3-19) lost on the road to eighth ranked Koping Stars (9-12) 83-68 on Friday. American forward Juwan Gray (203-1996, college: Towson, agency: Blacktop Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Travis McConico (198-1997, college: Charleston So.) accounted for 17 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Koping Stars players scored in double figures. Koping Stars' coach Torbjorn Gehrke used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jamaure Gregg (201-1999, college: NSU) came up with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and center Tobias Sjoberg (205-1997, college: Marist) added 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Kalmar in the defeat. Koping Stars moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sodertalje. Kalmar lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 19 games lost.
