Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Coruna and 8th ranked Burgos had identical 9-7 record. This time Coruna used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Burgos 95-81 on Friday night. Coruna made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Burgos turnovers. Strangely Burgos outrebounded Coruna 37-25 including 22 on the defensive glass. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Cantabria. Coruna will meet at home bottom-ranked Iraurgi SB (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Burgos will play against Melilla (#16) and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the Liga Endesa just one year after relegation.
