There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Berck (6-14) defeated on the road 11th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (7-13) 82-64 on Friday. Berck shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Arthur Ekani (199-1988) who scored 22 points. Swingman Adrien Henocq (194-1996) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Four Berck players scored in double figures. Point guard Remi Lesca (180-1990) produced 11 points and 8 assists and Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-1985, college: Pace) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Berck moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Boulogne. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
