NM1 top team - SPO Rouen (16-4) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat eighth ranked Besancon (10-10) 87-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Besancon. SPO Rouen made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 Besancon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Moroccan forward Karim Gourari (203-1989) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Thomas Prost (180-1996) chipped in 14 points. American Mykal Riley (198-1985, college: Alabama) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and power forward Guillaume Valayer (201-1996) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
