No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Flammes (5-5) beat on the road 9th ranked Angers (3-7) 73-63 on Saturday. Flammes dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Angers' 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Serbian center Nikolina Milic (191-1994) notched 24 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Guyanese forward Brianna Fraser (190-1997, college: Maryland) supported her with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Even 17 points and 7 assists by American point guard Alexis Peterson (173-1995, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Angers. Her fellow American import swingman Jasmine Bailey (176-1990, college: UIC) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Flammes maintains sixth position with 5-5 record. Loser Angers dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Hainaut and Landes.
