The game in Taby was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Tureberg (10-7) played at the court of fifth ranked Norrort (10-5). Norrort managed to secure a 4-point victory 88-84 on Saturday. Norrort looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) who scored 30 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Mattias Herlitz (190-1994) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard John Thornblom (194-2000) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Gustav Moberg (189-2000) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Tureberg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Norrort moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Tureberg keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Eskilstuna. Norrort will meet RIG Mark (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tureberg will play against the league's second-placed Helsingborg (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
