Very predictable result when sixth ranked Ockelbo (9-7) defeated at home 12th ranked Sloga Uppsala (4-11) 85-70 on Saturday. Ockelbo dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Sloga Uppsala's 22. They outrebounded Sloga Uppsala 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian-Vincentian forward Opong Bramble (201-1997, college: CBU, agency: Helping Ballers) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Edvin Stark (183-1999) chipped in 25 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Greek point guard Mannos Nakos (179-1988) who recorded 25 points and forward Oliver Ehrnvall (203-1996, college: St.Cloud St.) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ockelbo maintains sixth position with 9-7 record. Sloga Uppsala lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Ockelbo will meet bottom-ranked Team4Q (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sloga Uppsala will play against Huddinge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
