Top ranked Znicz (16-2) recorded its second loss in Bielsk Podlaski on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (14-4) 81-78. Tur Bielsk Pdl. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Lukasz Kuczynski (196-1985) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Bartlomiej Wroblewski (181-1992) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists. Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s coach Piotr Bakun used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Mateusz Szwed (200-1991) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Bartosz Proczek (194-2000) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Tur Bielsk Pdl. maintains third position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader AZS AWF Mick. Znicz at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They share the position with Energa W-wa and Przemysl. Tur Bielsk Pdl. are looking forward to face Minsk Maz. (#12) in Minsk Mazowiecki in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
