Regular Season Round 19: Ardoi - Adareva 60-70

We should mention about the upset which took place in Zizur Mayor, where higher ranked Ardoi (9-10) lost at home to twelfth ranked Adareva (7-11) 60-70 on Saturday. Adareva had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Mali Maimouna Haidara (181-2004) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (173-1996) helped adding 12 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Argentinian center Diana Cabrera (186-1993) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Senegalese forward Fatou Pouye (183, college: Duquesne) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Ardoi's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Adareva moved-up to eleventh place. Ardoi lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Real Canoe. Adareva will meet at home league's leader Ferrol in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ardoi will play against Celta Zorka (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
