Regular Season Round 17: Slask - Legia 83-77

EBL top team - WKS Slask (15-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Legia (10-7) in Wroclaw 83-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Legia. American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-1997) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds. Puerto Rican-American guard Kyle Vinales (188-1992, college: CCSU, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 22 points and 5 assists and American swingman Travis Leslie (193-1990, college: Georgia) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Legia in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-2 record. Loser Legia keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Spojnia. WKS Slask will meet at home Anwil (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Legia will play against Spojnia in Stargard and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
