No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Hogsbo 2 (8-4) beat on the road 10th ranked Kalmar 2 (2-10) 82-78 on Saturday. Hogsbo 2 forced 22 Kalmar 2 turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Jesper Hallberg (201-1995) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Efraim Kouame-Palm (188-2004) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Hogsbo 2's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Antonius Allko came up with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Bryan Owuor (185-1996) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Kalmar 2 in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hogsbo 2 moved-up to third place. Kalmar 2 lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. Hogsbo 2 will meet at home NUBF (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kalmar 2 will play against Marbo in Kinna and hope to secure a win.
