The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Chalon/Saor as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Chalon/Saor defeated 14th ranked ALM Evreux at home 77-64. They outrebounded ALM Evreux 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Damien Bouquet (196-1994) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and the former international guard Antoine Eito (188-1988) who added 11 points and 7 assists during the contest.
