Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Ancona (9-7) defeated on the road 14th ranked Cesena (2-14) 92-78 on Sunday. Ancona made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Tommaso Carnovali (196-1993, agency: SLN) who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists and forward Yannick Giombini (201-2001, agency: SLN) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
