Regular Season Round 18: Trapani - Cantu 67-82

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Trapani (6-10) was defeated at home by first ranked Cantu (15-2) 82-67 on Sunday. Croatian point guard Roko Rogic (187-1992) scored 16 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Stefan Nikolic (203-1997) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Cantu's coach Romeo Sacchetti used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Gabriele Romeo (182-1997) with 20 points and 4 assists and point guard Federico Massone (191-1998) scored 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Five Cantu and four Trapani players scored in double figures. Cantu maintains first position with 15-2 record. Trapani at the other side dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. Cantu will meet at home Piacenza (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Trapani will play against Treviglio and hope to secure a win.
