We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Godella (5-11) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Salou (6-11) 84-69 on Sunday. Salou made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Artur Alaminos (202-1991) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Adria Aragones (193-2001) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Argentinian-Italian center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001, agency: Interperformances) produced 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Lucas Mari (196-2005) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Salou moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Godella lost sixth consecutive game. Godella at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Salou will meet at home league's leader Menorca in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Godella will play against Cornella (#5) and hope to secure a win.
