There was no surprise when 6th ranked Katy Wrocl. (8-8) was outleveled by second ranked Wisla Krakow (15-1) in Katy Wroclawskie 79-57 on Sunday. Wisla Krakow forced 25 Katy Wrocl. turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Ewelina Jackowska (187-1993) nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Wisla Krakow's coach Michal Sumara felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Iga Walentowska (170-1994) came up with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Aleksandra Lata (180-1992) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for Katy Wrocl. in the defeat.
