No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Taranto (9-7) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Pozzuoli (0-16) 76-55 on Sunday. Taranto dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Pozzuoli's 28. The winners were led by naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo Cena (200-1992, agency: Interperformances) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Marcello Piccoli (201-1999, agency: SLN) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Taranto players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds by Montenegrin power forward Fatih Mehmedovic (205-2000, agency: SLN) did not help to save the game for Pozzuoli. Guard Marco Cucco (189-1994) added 15 points and 5 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taranto moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 9 other teams. Loser Pozzuoli still closes the standings with 16 games lost. They share the position with Langhe Roero.
