Not a big story in a game in Pyrinto where 13th ranked Korinokia (5-9) was defeated by tenth ranked Leppavaaran P. (7-7) 76-66 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 44-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Leppavaaran P. outrebounded Korinokia 44-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Riku Korhonen (192-2004) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Akseli Hartikainen (195) chipped in 11 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with Team Pajulahti. Leppavaaran P. will meet MuKi (#14) in the next round where they are favorite. Korinokia will play against the league's second-placed PeU-Basket and will have a slim chance for a victory.
