No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (8-13) smashed at home 14th ranked CFBB (3-18) 78-51 on Tuesday. It was a great shooting night for Lourdes-Tarbes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Remi Lesca (180-1990) stepped up and scored 12 points and 8 assists for the winners and power forward Ludovic Martel (208-2000) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ilane Fibleuil (193-2005) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and forward Maxim Logue (203-2005) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Cergy-Pontoise. CFBB lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Hyeres-Toulon. Lourdes-Tarbes will meet at home higher ranked Poitiers (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against Lorient (#7) and hope to secure a win.
