There was no surprise in Minsk where 9th ranked Gorizont 2 (1-16) was defeated by sixth ranked Victoria (8-9) 63-47. Victoria held Gorizont 2 to an opponent 21.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Victoria forced 21 Gorizont 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 58-38 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a good game for guard Aleksandra Polubok (154-2006) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds. Maria Liaskouskaia (-2007) contributed with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Alisa Borschevskaya replied with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks and Anastasia Kazakova (-2004) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gorizont 2.
