Regular Season Round 26: Norrkoping - BC Lulea 100-67

Rather predictable result when third ranked Norrkoping (16-6) smashed at home 5th ranked BC Lulea (13-10) 100-67 on Friday. They outrebounded BC Lulea 39-25 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Devonte Green (190-1997, college: Indiana) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). The former international guard Tim Schuberg (188-1995) chipped in 11 points. Belgian-American forward Michael Gilmore (208-1995, college: VCU) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Ladarien Griffin (200-1996, college: St.Bonaventure) added 9 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Norrkoping have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 16-6 record having just one point less than leader Boras. Loser BC Lulea keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Norrkoping will meet Koping Stars (#7) on the road in the next round. BC Lulea will play against Sodertalje and hope to secure a win.
